Operations Plan.

The generation of an operations plan is an iterative process. Initially the first five sections of this form should be completed, as far as possible, by an event organiser requesting RAYNET’s assistance.  The remaining sections will be completed by Raynet.  A final copy will be supplied to the event organiser in advance of the event.

There will be roving mobile marshals on quad bikes out on the course - one bike per section. They will keep an eye on runners and, in the event of anyone not being well or falling, can give them a lift to the nearest appropriate base. 6.1 Overview

THIS IS SUBJECT TO CHANGE FOLLOWING FINAL TESTS on 21st May.

We are to operate two link units, one an in band talkthro at Inshore (R6) and a crossband unit on Faraid Head.  All station use R6 (normal -600KHzshift)

*   We anticipate that the R6 unit will provide coverage on all the Wrath side and hopefully the Durness side as well.

*   The crossband unit is to provide a separate direct link between the Start 144.775 and the Lighthouse 433.700

If the repeater fails we use 145.750 simplex. Only if 145.750 becomes unusable should you QSY 144.775MHz.

6.2 Frequencies & Technical Plan

VHF1: R6

User Access Frequencies

Tx 145.150  Rx 145.750

VHF2: 144.775

1)     Link

2)     Secondary channel, only use if 145.750 blocked or unusable.

UHF1: 433.700
