Sled Dogs – Millbuie 26^th & 27^th November

Thankyou for volunteering to help at the Sled Dog Association of Scotland (SDAS) event at Millbuie Forrest, Black Isle.

The event starts 09:00 on Saturday and I anticipate that Sunday’s start will be 30 minutes earlier @ 08:30 - please be in position and on air 15 minutes before these times. The events finish by “mid afternoon”.

The grid references for the check points are shown below (they are all on the Landranger Sheet 21). I propose the following deployment. Note, they don’t know as yet if there are any entrants in the 6 dog event if they do run it we will need to move checkpoints 1A and 4 while they run that class

Regarding access; the main parking for competitors is between points 1 & 2 (above) and access is recommended from just east of Killen at NH 663583

We will operate on 145.225MHz (simplex).

It will be cold in the forest – take warm clothing, food & a flask with a hot drink.
