Amateur Radio - in the Highlands

Amateur Radio, as a hobby, has many different aspects.  For some the interest is speaking to fellow amateurs in foreign countries; the "speaking" could be by voice or it may be in Morse Code, by TV or by data. Other amateurs experiment with different aerial systems while some even use satellites (did you know there are amateur satellites!?)

If you are interested in Amateur Radio or short wave listening there is plenty information on the web.  Try the Radio Society of Great Britain (RSGB).
