Funding; Money! Money! Money!

All members are volunteers who provide their services without pecuniary gain.

However, there are certain GROUP expenses for equipment, insurance, administration etc that need to be paid.  We keep expenditure to a minimum so our need for funds and the need to account for them is kept simple.  All our funding comes from donations. 

We receive donations from most events / organisations we help.  Our policy is not look for donations from charity events but where an event is primarily a competition or an event for the participants e.g. Sled Dog Races, Endurance Riding we will ask for a donation.  Clubs and Organisations who have supported us are listed here. We are very grateful for their support.  

No expenses are paid to any member for travelling to or operating at any events.  If any member's individual circumstances were such that travel/accommodation costs were preventing them from participating at events where such costs were inevitable then the Controller could consider the merits of the Group contributing to theses costs.  Such a situation has not arisen.
