The Highland Cross

A unique annual coast to coast midsummer charity biathlon. Last year the competitors again raised over £130,000! 

21st June 2008

This course is on foot from Kintail to Glen Affric then by bike to Beauly - a total of 50 miles. This is through some of the best but remotest part of the Scottish Highlands.  Safety of the 720 competitors is coordinated by Raynet and involves Mountain Rescue Teams and the Scottish Ambulance Service.

We use the caravan site in Cannich - it comes with our recommendations.  A good base to see this most beautiful part of Scotland.
